Pet Accidents
blot with paper towel
rinse area using amonia solution
blot again
rinse with white vinegar
continue blotting
Soft Drinks
apply a solution of one quart of water
one teaspoon of mild detergent
one teaspoon of white vinegar
Red Wine
use club soda or white wine
flush from carpet
Gum
freeze with ice
remove with dull knife
Grease and Oil
gently rub in talcum poweder, cornmeal or corn starch
let set
brush or sponge away
Grass Stain
apply rubbing alcohol liberally to the stain area
Candle Wax
place several layers of wet paper towel over the wax
run a warm iron over the paper towel
Ink
spray the area with hairspray
rinse the entire area with water
Blood
flush with cold water
Alcoholic Beverages
flush with warm water or soda water
blot dry
